all potassium nitrate is is salt peter. u can get it on ebay or a gardening shop or home deopt or lowes probably

I did the exact same as what you did and it dint fly up all it did was smoke up the place i didnt have that much thrust why is that

So I tried this one out and used plain granulated sugar and put it through a coffee grinder with the KNO3. The rocket went for about 20 feet and then exploded. Does it have to be icing sugar?

this is more powerfull if u use 75 15 10 blackpowder but its more diffucult to constuct and takes way more time cuz of the mortarin.
but nice vid and cool rocket. what diameter of pvc pipe do u use?
