Hmm? How did you get that 149kg for weight? It weighs about 1,5 tons without ammo. And it's only deployed as a naval gun. So you should compare it to the likes of Phalanx and Goalkeeper guns, not the GAU-8.

I would not be surprised. About 1200 rounds. That means each auto-cannon shell costs nearly 400 dollars each. If I just stole a hundred of those. I'd make a pretty penny. I doubt they'll notice since its only a second more of firing.
