What the fuck is with all you Veyron Lovers out there, most of you will never own one and only know about it becuase it was the fastest production car in the world for a time. Go with the flow and move onto the SSC Ultimate Aero, a V8 USA car thats quicker, and according to many, including Jay Leno.. who owns both the Veyron and SSC... it's better to drive too. (check out jaylenos garage ssc video for the scoop)

dude how are you going to compare an f1 to a veyron a veyron is much better an f1 does up to like 235mph and the veyron does 253mph and its very luxurious i dont know if im the only one but do you want to be seen coming to a red light with a parachute coming out of your cars rear?

The first N/A versions of the RST-V8 engine had a weight of around 75 kgs IIRC, a lot less than a Ford Duratec or a Rover K. That might have been increased a bit (plus the weight of the supercharger) but I don't think there'll be a big weight difference to the R500. So I guess it will be faster than the R500.
